Juicy Dutch Bessen Syrup. Tasty by-products reign supreme here. Think blackberries, white and red currants, chokeberries, lingonberries... it all depends on what the local farmer offers. Some berries deviate from the ideal, but there's no such thing! fruitslagers how we can help your gekke bessen just awesome. Gekke Bessen is an ode to the entire spectrum of the Dutch berry world. A syrup made from berries that are normally rejected because they look a little different. We just have to have those! This is how the fruitslagers a Dutch cassis. 
Fruit and herb infusion (water, lime, bay leaf, hops, rosemary), sugar, natural vinegar, 24% red currant juice, 7% raspberry juice, 3% blackberry juice, acidifier: citric acid, salt.
Mix 1 part Gekke Bessen with 7 parts tap water (sparkling) for a glass of soft drink as a solution or combine with Field Guide spirits for a fresh mocktail.
Like biting into a berry! The pressed berry pulp ferments in vinegar, adding complexity. Regeneratively grown herbs provide a fresh, green finish.
Rescued Dutch berries! Every berry gets a chance, lovingly rescued from the industrial bins by the fruit butcher. Blackcurrants, whitecurrants, redcurrants, chokeberries, and lingonberries: both residual flows from common varieties and unusual varieties from the food forest are given a chance in this syrup. The leaves of blackcurrants also contribute to the flavor, so we process crops from head to tail!
