Friese Woudboon tempeh

The Frisian forest beans come from Jan Steverink from Silvolde and the Smak family from Lutjewinkel. They are creamy, slightly salty beans, perfect as a base for winter dishes. They are traditionally eaten as Frisian Forest Beans With bacon and vinegar. We eat it with practically everything, but definitely try it with hotchpotch, a beurre blanc sauce, or on a pita with salsa verde.
